Job SummaryThe firm is seeking a mid‑level Associate Attorney with 4–7 years of civil litigation experience to handle a diverse caseload of complex matters. This hybrid role offers meaningful case ownership, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to work closely with experienced partners on high‑quality litigation matters.
Responsibilities- Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses
- Prepare and argue dispositive motions in state court
- Take and defend fact witness and expert depositions
- Prepare for and attend hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda in support of case strategy
- Communicate regularly with clients and prepare detailed status reports
- Collaborate with partners, colleagues, and experts to develop litigation strategy
- Juris Doctor from an ABA‑accredited law school
- Active admission to the New Jersey State Bar
- 4+ years of civil litigation experience
- Experience practicing in New Jersey state and federal courts
- Demonstrated experience with depositions and motion practice
- ADR experience, including arbitrations and mediations, preferred
- Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize workload, and work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Competitive salary range of $100,000–$140,000, commensurate with experience
