We are seeking an experienced Paralegal with a strong litigation background to support a busy legal team handling complex cases and high document volume.

This role is ideal for a seasoned paralegal who can work independently, manage cases proactively, and support attorneys throughout the full litigation lifecycle.

• Draft legal documents including complaints, motions, and discovery documents independently

• Prepare and respond to discovery requests

• Conduct background reviews and legal research

• Manage and organize large volumes of legal documentation and case files

• Support case management activities and anticipate next steps in litigation workflows

• Maintain attorney calendars, deadlines, and case schedules

• Prepare billing narratives and time entries with clear justification of work performed

• Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure efficient case progression

• 5+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal

• Strong experience with discovery requests, background reviews, and litigation workflows

• Proven ability to independently draft pleadings (complaints, motions, discovery documents)

• Billing experience
  , including drafting billing narratives

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  , especially Word

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys

• Experience in personal injury defense or similar litigation environments

• Familiarity with legal case management systems

• This is a 100% onsite role in Parsippany, NJ

• Candidates must be within commuting distance or willing to relocate

• Experience primarily in plaintiff work, family law, real estate, or employment law is NOT a fit
