About the role
As a .NET Core & Angular Developer
, you will make an impact by designing and developing scalable, secure, and high‑performing applications that power critical business solutions. You will be a valued member of our Technology & Engineering team, collaborating closely with architects, product owners, QA engineers, and cross‑functional cloud and Dev Ops teams to deliver modern, cloud‑aligned digital experiences.
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using .NET Core and C#, ensuring scalability, security, and seamless integration with distributed systems.
- Build and enhance Angular web applications
, focusing on responsive UI, reusable components, and client‑side validations. - Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, including stored procedures, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.
- Leverage Azure cloud services for application hosting, storage, event‑driven processing, and serverless functions (Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus).
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops or similar tools to support automated builds, deployments, and version control.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Parsippany - NJ. What you need to have to be considered- Strong hands‑on experience with .NET Core, C#, Angular, SQL Server, and Azure
. - Proven ability to design, build, and consume RESTful APIs
. - Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
. - Practical knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes and/or Open Shift).
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
- Experience working with Cosmos DB and/or Couchbase
. - Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or hybrid/multi‑cloud environments.
- Knowledge of serverless architectures and event‑driven programming patterns.
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Experience contributing to Dev Ops practices including infrastructure as code, monitoring, and automated testing.

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 - $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
