Senior .NET Full Stack Developer with Angular/Azure (Hybrid)

As a Senior .NET Full Stack Developer, you will make an impact by contributing to the architecture and design of software systems, ensuring scalability and maintainability. You will be a valued member of the Digital Engineering team and work collaboratively with the manager and stakeholders.

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using .NET Core and C#, ensuring scalable and secure integration with front-end and back-end systems.
• Build and maintain web applications with Angular, implementing responsive UI components and client-side validations.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, including writing stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Leverage Azure cloud services for application hosting, storage, and serverless functions (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops or similar tools for automated builds, deployments, and version control.

  SQL databases such as Cosmos DB and Couchbase for modern, scalable data storage solutions.
• Utilize containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift) for application deployment and orchestration.
• Participate in cloud migration and hybrid cloud projects involving Azure and GCP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, compliant, and high-availability solutions.
• Contribute to Dev Ops practices, including infrastructure as code, monitoring, and automated testing.

• 5-7 years overall experience
• Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, Angular, SQL Server, and Azure.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/Open Shift).
• Familiarity with Cosmos DB, Couchbase, and GCP is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.

• Exposure to Azure Dev Ops, Open Shift, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of serverless architectures and event-driven programming.
• Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance.

The annual salary for this position is between $55K – $114K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
