Senior Java Full Stack Developer; Angular​/Azure

Cognizant is seeking a talented JAVA Full Stack Engineer (FSE) Developer to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in backend and frontend development, with a focus on building robust, scalable, and secure enterprise solutions. This role requires hands‑on experience with modern frameworks, cloud platforms, and continuous integration practices, supporting the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless data exchange between services and external platforms.
• Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Angular.
• Work with Oracle databases for data modelling, query optimisation, and transaction management.
• Leverage Microsoft Azure cloud services for application deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions and ensure best coding practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems to improve reliability and performance.

Work model: Onsite.

• 5 - 7 years of hands‑on experience in JAVA development, microservices, and cloud platforms.
• Java:
  Advanced object‑oriented programming, multi‑threading, and performance tuning.
• Spring Boot:
  Microservices development, dependency injection, and RESTful service creation.
• Microservices:
  Design, implementation, and orchestration of distributed systems.
• REST API: API design, documentation, and integration.
• Angular:
  Frontend development, component‑based architecture, and UI/UX enhancement.
• Oracle:
  Database design, PL/SQL, and data management.
• Azure:
  Cloud deployment, resource management, and security.

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

The annual salary for this position will be between $68,442 to $120,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
