Engineer to support the development of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for the Power and Control Actuation Systems (PAS) business unit. Theapplicantshould have a background in Software
Engineering with experience in embedded software development and/or hardware (equipment) automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of System Requirements Documentation and provide support through the development lifecycle(PDR, CDR, Validation, Fielding).
- Develop Software Design Documents (including Test Plans).
- Design and Implement High Level GUI Windows Applications in C#using Visual Studio IDE. Database Backend (MS SQL, SQLite,etc.) experience is a plus.
- Designand implementfirmwarein
CusingTI’s Code Composer. - Experience with Lab View (Real Time and Lab View FPGA is a plus)
- Able to use and program various laboratory equipment (e.power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)used toautomate testing.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose issues with test equipment systems anddetermineroot cause and corrective actions (RCCA)
- Work with outside vendors and suppliers.
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering,or similarisrequired
- Experience designing test systemsutilizinga Test Console and Interface Test Adapter (ITA)
- Must be a US Citizen

Languages:
C#, Lab View, MS SQL, SQLite
- Test equipment hardware selection. Electrical schematic generation. EEE parts selection.
- Project planning, monitoring, and reporting
- Experience in PCB layout and routing

LabVIEW, Lab View Real Tim, Lab View FPGA, OrCAD, LT Spice
This position is at our Parsippany NJ office location.
Pay Range$137,000- $150,000 per year
