Job DescriptionDo you enjoy assessing facilities? Enjoy traveling to different locations? Parsons provides program and facilities assessment support to a DOD client worldwide. We are seeking a Senior Facilities Assessor to evaluate and monitor field assessment data, assist in developing cost estimates, and support our global facilities assessment work.
ProjectParsons is managing a Technical Services (TS) program for an agency within the Department of Defense to review third party A/E work; conduct studies, analysis, testing and measuring; perform specialized engineering services, planning and design reviews; commissioning services; and construction oversight on worldwide delivery orders.
Responsibilities- Work as part of a team performing facility evaluations by applying engineering standards, practices, and techniques.
- Visually evaluate the architectural/MEP building systems, gather data, and note any deficient conditions.
- Upload gathered data into the client’s CMMS system.
- Support our global facilities assessment work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management (or related field preferred)
- At least 12+ years of relevant work experience
- Mechanical or electrical expertise preferred.
- Must be US Citizen.
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required.
- Proficiency in the application of engineering and architectural design standards, practices, and technique.
- Working knowledge of commercial construction codes and their application to existing facilities.
- Proficient PC skills including Project Controls Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to walk for long periods (6 to 8 hours/day) and climb ladders.
- Must be able to travel between 6% - 12% of the year based on customer needs.
An active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph clearance is required for this position. This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
