Job Title
Ability to read and interpret schematics.
Ability to operate a forklift
Ability to operate an overhead crane and hoist
Must be able to comply with specific safety policies, i.e. Confined Space, Lockout Tagout, etc.
Understand and follow through on both verbal and written instructions.
Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook.
Basic Computer
Skills:
Able to learn new screens, reports, functions and simple software programs with assistance.
High School Diploma; up to 3 years related experience in job function and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience
One year commercial maintenance experience preferred
Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting hydraulic pumps, cylinders, controls, valves and other function electrical and mechanical components with an hydraulic assembly
Basic to advanced electrical and electronic skills.
Knowledge of PLC's and other electronic components preferred
Experience with hot form, SPF presses, Lasers, or Water Jets will get preferred status
Knowledge of policy and procedures in the event of a Hazardous waste release, fire or explosion.
Knowledge of the chemical characteristics and location of hazardous waste in the facility.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Frequently required to stand; walk; use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; or crouch.
Must be able to communicate effectively.
May frequently lift and/or move from 1 – 25 pounds, may occasional lift and/or move from 26-50 lbs.
Working conditions are: 5% office environment, 95% manufacturing environment.
Noise level is moderate in office environment and moderate to loud in manufacturing environment.
Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
Occasionally works in high precarious places and in outside weather conditions.
Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
Hearing protection must be worn in designated manufacturing areas.
Safety glasses (ANSI Z87 compliant) required in all manufacturing areas.
Safety Footwear shall be in accordance with the following: ASTM standard F2413-05 with minimum impact resistance, compression resistance and metatarsal designation ratings of 75 foot pounds (i.e. ASTM F2413-05 I/75 C/75 Mt/75), which are viewable on the inside tag of footwear.
