This position assists nursing and surgical staff by preparing rooms, transporting patients, maintaining supplies, and ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient environment for patient care. Key Responsibilities
* Assist with preparing and turning over operating and procedure rooms
* Transport patients safely to and from the surgery department
* Stock and maintain surgical supplies, equipment, and linen
* Assist nursing staff with non-clinical patient care needs
* Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas according to infection control standards
* Support patient comfort and safety throughout their surgical visit
* Follow all hospital policies related to safety, confidentiality, and compliance### Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED required
* Healthcare experience preferred, butnot required
* Ability to lift, push, or pull patients and equipment safely
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
* Dependable, team-oriented, and patient-focused attitude
* BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hireEOE###
