Security Officer – $21.01 per hour, 12‑hour shifts as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct area patrol of required areas/buildings.
- Investigate and report on all incidents.
- Follow all regulations pertaining to security operations.
- Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with policies, procedures, company values, and law.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Exercise initiative, independent judgment, and discretion in performing duties.
- Physical Agility Test (as required).
- Professionalism – approach others tactfully, remain calm under pressure, follow through on commitments, correctly apply security rules and regulations.
- Effective communication skills.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of prior experience in security.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Visual acuity: prepare, analyze data, transcribe documents, view computer, read, inspect objects, operate machinery.
- Balance when walking, climbing, crouching.
- Stooping: bend spine at the waist.
- Reach arms or legs in any direction.
- Lift objects more than 15 pounds.
- Walk, push or pull.
- Manual dexterity: pick, pinch, type, other tasks using fingers.
- Grasp: use hand to apply pressure.
- Climb: ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, using feet, legs, hands, arms.
- Hearing, talking.
- Capacity to think, concentrate, focus for long periods.
- Capacity to reason and make sound decisions.
- Capacity to express thoughts orally.
- Ability to withstand environmental conditions such as extreme heat or cold, wind, sand, fumes, odors, gases, extreme noise, etc.
