Interlachen Country Club is seeking Lifeguards

Our lifeguard team provides a safe and enjoyable environment for our members at our pool during the summer months. In this role, you will work in an energetic environment alongside supportive teammates with the opportunity to build relationships and create moments that matter every day.

• Deliver first‑class service to our members.
• Recognize and respond proactively in emergencies and enforce all pool policies and rules.
• Inspect the pool daily and report any unsafe conditions or equipment to leadership.
• Complete any necessary records and reports.
• Participate in regular in-service training sessions and weekly team communications.
• Complete additional duties, such as locker room cleanliness.
• Be ready to perform water rescues, First Aid, and CPR/AED when necessary.

• Currently enrolled in High School, High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• ARC First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer
• Lifeguard Certified
• An understanding of facility characteristics, rules, policies, and procedures

• Focused - Ability to pay attention to important details in an active environment
• Detail‑Oriented - Take pride in maintaining a professional standard of work and a high level of accuracy
• Responsible - Ability to lead by example and make decisions on what is right and wrong
• Compassionate - Show kindness, sympathy and concern for your team and our members

• Balancing, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, grasping, talking, swimming, and hearing.
• Visual acuity to perform an activity where the task at hand is at or within arm's reach.
• Subject to both environmental conditions: activities occur both inside and outside including, but not limited to indoors, outdoors, service areas, and in a variety of weathers. Indoor office work may compromise less than 50% of work-time.
• Ability to lift up to 75-100 lbs.

• Part‑time & Full‑time seasonal positions available.
• Able to work flexible hours and days (e.g., evenings, weekends and holidays) weekends are required.
• Shifts will differ from 4‑8 hours.
