Job Overview

Delivery Driver position at Domino's Pizza. Provide flexible scheduling while delivering pizza and related products to customers, ensuring safe driving and excellent customer service.

• Deliver pizzas, drinks, and promotional materials to customers’ doorsteps within designated areas.
• Navigate routes accurately using maps, GPS, or street signs, including multi‑story buildings and adverse terrain.
• Gather and verify location forms, deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Load and unload delivery vehicle with ingredients, supplies, and menu items, ensuring vehicle and storage areas remain organized.
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle and vehicle storage area.
• Assist with store opening and closing duties as needed.
• Provide accurate monetary change and perform basic math calculations.
• Communicate verbally and in writing with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Complete required paperwork, inventory, and day‑to‑day operational tasks.

• Minimum age of 18 with a valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving record that meets company standards.
• Access to a personal, insured vehicle suitable for delivery duties.
• Strong navigation skills to locate addresses within the delivery area.
• Proficiency in basic math, including adding, subtracting, and rounding change.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds, carry up to 30 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks such as pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Standing for the majority of shift; walking short distances; occasional climbing stairs or ladders.
• Lifting and carrying weights up to 50 pounds; pushing or pulling trays that weigh up to 30 pounds.
• Bending forward at the waist for up to 45 seconds at a time while stocking, assembling items, or performing other tasks.
• Crouching or squatting occasionally to reach low shelves or clean areas.
• Reaching above 72 inches to access ovens or shelving; reaching down to load or unload items.
• Frequent hand use for tasks such as cutting dough, opening boxes, and operating pizza peel or cutter.
• Use of basic tools and equipment, including computers, telephones, and calculators.

• Exposure to variable weather conditions while delivering products.
• Work area temperatures ranging from 36°F in cooler spaces to 90°F or higher in certain zones.
• Fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust.
• Flickering or high‑heat surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts in the store.
• Far and night vision required for safe driving during deliveries.

• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with a team, and manage under stress.
• Strong motor coordination between eyes and hands for precise, rapid movements.
• Effective verbal, written, and telephone skills for order processing and customer interaction.
• Mathematical skills for quick calculation of change and item prices.

Successful delivery drivers may progress to store management, general manager, franchise ownership, or corporate operations roles.
