Skills Needed: Qualifications of a Caregiver and CNA's (Certified Nursing Assistant) include:
• Eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be able to successfully pass the competency program of this agency.
• Ability to get to and from work sites, as required by the schedule.
• Must be able to provide direct patient care.
• Working knowledge of the home health care program and previous experience providing home health personal care visits preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 35lbs.
• Ability manipulate objects weighing up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach.
• Ability to walk independently up and down a normal flight of 13-15 stairs.
