We are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant for a short-term contract assignment in Pasadena. This role will focus on supporting the accounting team through month-end close activities, financial reporting, and reconciliations. Ideal candidates are hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and able to jump in quickly in a fast‑paced environment.

• Support month‑end close including preparation and posting of journal entries
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with account analysis, variance explanations, and general ledger maintenance
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data and reporting
• Collaborate with accounting team to meet tight deadlines

• 3+ years of accounting experience;
  Senior Staff Accountant level preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/related field is required
• Strong experience with month‑end close, journal entries, and financial reporting
• Solid reconciliation and general ledger experience
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work independently and start quickly in a contract environment
