Senior Tax Accountant

A reputable full-service tax and accounting firm in Pasadena, California has an opening for immediate hire for a Tax Accountant with career growth opportunity.

Required skills:

• Advanced knowledge of tax accounting, audit process, and tax law.
• Extensive experience with corporate tax preparation.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience
• CPA or EA is a huge plus
• Advanced knowledge of Quick Books is a MUST.
• Under the direction of the Partners, effectively manages multiple projects and engagements simultaneously with superior customer satisfaction.
• Under the direction of the Partners, monitors project statuses to meet budgets, deadlines and quality control standards.
• Efficiently and accurately prepare, review and revise work papers.
• Experience communicating on behalf of client to tax authorities, including notices and examinations.
• Experience with preparing complicated tax returns for individual, corporate, partnerships and other type entities.
• Experience with meeting clients and establishing and maintaining relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel and Word) is a MUST.

Compensation:

• This is a full-time exempt permanent position.
• $95,000 - $115,000 DOE + bonus and great benefits
