Tax Manager – Private Client Services (PCS) Practice

• Develop and manage client engagements, preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations and other entities.
• Train, supervise and develop associates and senior staff, including mentoring and coaching.
• Maintain accurate time and billing for self and team.
• Build relationships with clients and maintain relationships with firm leadership.
• Identify and pursue new client relationships; participate in client/potential‑client seminars to expand networking opportunities.
• Keep up‑to‑date on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, and apply new knowledge to client engagements.
• Collaborate with other tax professionals within the firm to coordinate efforts, share knowledge, and ensure efficient delivery of tax services.
• Hold self and direct reports accountable for achieving developmental goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
• 4+ years of tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or a public/corporate mix.
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification required.
• Preferred:
  Master’s degree in Taxation or relevant field.
• Preferred:
  Experience using GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software.
