Senior Accountant II

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic operation accounting team. This role requires a self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a passion for data automation, and the ability to assess and communicate the accounting impact of new products and business initiatives.

• Perform month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Independently manage complex accounting tasks and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to evaluate the accounting implications of new products, services, and business models.
• Monitor subledger systems and ensure accurate, timely integration with the general ledger.
• Design and implement automated solutions to streamline accounting workflows.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries.
• Maintain and improve internal controls and documentation.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a mid‑to‑large organization.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Net Suite, SAP, Oracle) and data automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power Query, Python) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with accounting subledger system implementation is highly desirable.

The base pay range for this position is USD $80,000.00/Yr. – USD $95,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
