Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts receivable by ensuring timely and accurate billing, posting of receipts, and collections.
  • Handle sales orders, monitor and track sales transactions, and ensure all sales invoices are correctly issued and recorded.
  • Perform cash applications by applying cash receipts to the correct customer accounts and invoices.
  • Conduct cash reconciliation tasks such as verifying cash receipts, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and preparing daily cash reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
  • Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to improve financial procedures and ensure a smooth sales process.
  • Maintain an orderly financial filing system for our records.
  • Assist with other accounting projects as needed.
  • Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven accounting experience, preferably within the sales industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, sales orders, cash applications, and cash reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
