Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will work independently on complex accounting functions in accordance with GAAP, ensuring accuracy across our multi‑entity structure.
- Financial Integrity:
Maintain pristine financial records by preparing and posting journal entries across multiple fast‑growing entities. - The Close Process:
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including complex bank and balance sheet reconciliations. - Strategic Analysis:
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to provide leadership with actionable insights for decision‑making. - Process Optimization:
Evaluate existing accounting workflows, identify inefficiencies, and design/implement scalable, modern improvements. - Compliance & Audit Support:
Ensure strict alignment with internal policies, GAAP, and healthcare‑specific regulations (including HIPAA and CMS guidelines). Prepare schedules and clear documentation for internal/external audits.
What We Are Looking For
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. - Experience:
3+ years of progressive accounting experience. Prior experience in a healthcare setting is highly preferred. - Technical Savvy:
Strong foundation in GAAP and high proficiency in Excel. Direct experience with Quick Books Online (QBO) and/or Xero is a major plus. - Multi‑Entity Expertise:
Comfort navigating or a strong desire to learn the nuances of multi‑entity accounting and intercompany transactions. - Mindset: A self‑motivated professional who thrives under minimal supervision, possesses high attention to detail, and maintains absolute discretion with sensitive financial data.

Monday − Friday, 8:00 AM − 5:00 PM - Location:
Pasadena, CA - Salary Range: $75,000 − $85,000 per year (Depending on experience)
