Job Summary
The Tax Accountant will be working under the general supervision of the tax management team and other senior staff. This position assists the tax team with the company’s annual provision, federal and state tax compliance, and other tax matters.

- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns, including supporting work papers and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual income tax provisions (ASC 740), including supporting schedules.
- Analyze financial data and transactions to assess tax implications, risks, and opportunities.
- Support international and multi-state tax compliance (e.g., Forms 5471/8858, foreign tax credits, Subpart F/GILTI).
- Maintain and reconcile tax fixed asset records, including book-to-tax differences, depreciation calculations, and support for provision for provision and compliance schedules.
- Perform technical tax research and document conclusions on federal, state, and international tax matters.
- Prepare quarterly estimated tax payments and extension calculations.
- Assist with tax audits, controversy matters, and responses to federal and state notices.
- Collaborate with accounting, finance, and other departments to gather data and provide tax-related guidance.
- Utilize tax technology and contribute to process improvements, automation, and data management initiatives.
- All other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s degree in progress in accounting, finance, taxation, or related field
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in corporate taxation or accounting preferred
- Working knowledge of ASC 740 and GAAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to document tax positions clearly
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment
The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $80,000.00/Yr.
- USD $95,000.00/Yr. depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
