We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in the Sales industry. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading sales organization. The Accounting Manager will play a critical role in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting operations, including cash applications and cash reconciliation.

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including cash applications and cash reconciliation.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of audit initiatives and monthly closings.
• Direct internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls.
• Review financial data for accuracy, correctness, and completeness.
• Manage the budgeting process, including the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Analyze financial data and provide financial advice to the management team.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations.
• Provide leadership and support to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the Sales industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including cash applications and cash reconciliation.
• Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Exceptional leadership abilities with a capacity to engage, motivate, and inspire team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex financial information in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Proficiency in accounting software and related tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
