Job Summary
Maintenance & Inventory Management Specialist – Warehouse – Pasadena, TX. This role supports maintenance planning and inventory management within Air Liquide’s Pasadena warehouse.
Responsibilities- Promote a safe work environment and work to achieve zero accidents or lost time incidents.
- Manage 3rd‑party vendor warehouse operations, including inventory replenishment, purchase requisitions, PO pricing, invoice processing, and sales tax issues.
- Coordinate transfer and logistics of inventory to the Pasadena warehouse; create and manage Maximo recovery items.
- Engage with Industrial Direction, reliability teams and suppliers to track and recover critical and capital spare parts.
- Maintain direct contact with customers to assess part condition, obtain funding approval, and coordinate repairs or replacements.
- Initiate procurement for repair services or replacement parts as needed.
- Monitor and update inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and availability.
- Provide regular status updates to customers and stakeholders on repair/replacement progress.
- Maintain detailed records, generate cost‑tracking and optimization reports.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and address issues promptly.
- Ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures and preventative maintenance inventory management.
- Complete work orders in Maximo and schedule SME audits/reviews.
- Evaluate and document spare‑part physical inventory, identify duplicate or inaccurate data, and coordinate data clean‑ups.
- Develop, design and maintain activity, status and KPI reports related to inventory, catalog management and related procedures.
- Respond to all emails within 24hours of receipt.
Lifting or carrying up to 30pounds occasionally.
QualificationsRequired:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid U.S. employment authorization; no visa sponsorship.
- Minimum 7years of supply‑chain, inventory or asset‑management experience in MRP systems with basic knowledge of maintenance planning or plant reliability processes.
- Experience managing maintenance inventory/assets in Maximo, Oracle or SAP.
