Role Summary

As a Studio Coordinator (SC) you support the world‑class Core Power Yoga studio experience by coordinating studio operations and maintaining the highest health and safety standards. You work closely with the Studio Manager to deliver results and sustained growth toward all company and studio‑level goals.

Studio Presence and Guiding the Student Experience
  • Act as an ambassador of Core Power Yoga values at all times and consistently inspire these values in others.
  • Support the Studio Manager in achieving membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment.
  • Commit to a flexible schedule of 18‑29 hours per week in‑studio for operations coordination, teaching (if certified), health and safety protocol execution, front‑desk guidance, and team support.
  • Act as the point of contact for students and staff when the Studio Manager is unavailable (up to 20 hours per week).
  • Maintain studio supply inventory and ensure cleanliness and amenities are always available.
  • Engage with the studio community: greet students by name, serve as a yoga ambassador, and foster community at the front desk.
  • Assist teachers with POS and other pre/post‑class duties.
Coordinate and Execute Health, Safety and Cleanliness Protocol
  • Ensure the studio meets core cleanliness and functionality standards when on duty.
  • Communicate Smart Health Protocol to students upon entry and throughout their visit.
  • Act as an extension of the Studio Experience Team (SET): clean the studio, stock amenities, and enforce the CPY cleanliness protocol.
  • Interview, hire, schedule, step in for no‑call/no‑shows, train, discipline, and if necessary terminate SET employees who violate CPY policies.
  • Lead orientation for new SET members and train them on cleanliness protocol and role expectations.
Coordinate Studio Systems
  • Act as liaison between Studio Manager, teaching and SET teams, coordinating studio operational systems.
  • Operate POS to sign students in, sell packages and memberships, and resolve student account issues.
  • Support online reservation system follow‑up, late‑cancel fees, waitlist, and student support.
  • Assist with subbing application training, HRIS usage, and help‑desk ticket submissions.
Teaching Schedule
  • Support the studio class schedule by teaching a minimum of six core Core Power Yoga classes per week and subbing additional classes as needed.
Skills & Experience
  • Excellent oral communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Completion of a Yoga Alliance Certified 200‑hour program preferred;
    Yoga Sculpt teacher training preferred.
  • Comfortable with studio systems (HRIS, intranet, POS, scheduling, payroll).
  • Ability to build relationships with diverse personalities and at different seniority levels.
  • Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can prioritize while working under multiple deadlines.
  • Self‑starter with initiative and enthusiasm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Excellent time‑management skills.
  • College degree (BA/BS) preferred.
Fine Print
  • Availability must match business needs: morning, evening, weekend, and some holiday availability required.
  • Must be able to move around the studio space, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • If certified to teach, must be able to step in to teach a class with little or no notice while scheduled in the studio.
