The Business Development Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Pasadena, CA. This position is responsible for supporting growth initiatives by analyzing market data, real estate credit trends, and potential partnership opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market and competitor research, preparing financial and performance analyses, and developing materials that clearly communicate findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and external partners.
The analyst will collaborate with business development, product, and finance teams to evaluate deal pipelines, support underwriting efforts, and contribute to strategic go-to-market plans. The role also involves preparing presentations and reports for leadership, helping refine Bluebono's solution offerings, and maintaining data-driven insights that inform business decisions.
- Strong analytical skills, including data interpretation, financial modeling, and quantitative problem-solving.
- Market research capabilities, with experience gathering, synthesizing, and presenting industry, competitor, and customer insights.
- Foundational knowledge of finance, particularly in lending, credit, or real estate-related domains.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and build stakeholder alignment.
- Ability to create concise, visually effective presentations and reports for internal and external audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, BI platforms, or similar software).
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapting to evolving priorities.
- Interest in real estate credit, financial technology, or capital markets; prior industry experience is beneficial.
