Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Job Captain with expertise in Revit software to join our dynamic team. This role requires strong technical proficiency, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams to deliver high-quality architectural solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination:
Lead the production of construction documents and ensure the timely delivery of project milestones while maintaining design intent and quality standards. - Revit Expertise:
Utilize advanced Revit skills to develop detailed architectural drawings, models, and documentation, including plans, elevations, sections, and schedules. - Team Leadership:
Collaborate with project managers, designers, and consultants to coordinate project workflows and resolve technical challenges. - Code Compliance:
Work with the project Architect to ensure all documentation adheres to applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards. - Quality Control:
Conduct thorough reviews of drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements. - Client Interaction:
Support client presentations and communication by providing technical expertise and addressing project-related inquiries. - Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve design and construction issues, providing innovative solutions to meet project goals.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in architecture. - Experience:
Minimum of 6 years of professional architectural experience in the U.S., with a strong understanding of local codes, standards, and construction practices. - Technical
Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Revit software is required; experience with AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and other design tools is a plus. - Knowledge:
Familiarity with construction documentation, detailing, and building systems. - Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. - Organizational
Skills:
Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and maintain attention to detail. - Licensure:
Architectural licensure or progress toward licensure is preferred but not required.
