Senior Project Architect

Pasadena, California

Our portfolio is centered on large-scale multifamily housing, mixed-use developments, and transit-oriented communities. We also specialize in the adaptive reuse of existing office buildings into sustainable residential environments and have extensive experience in senior living, medical and research facilities, commercial developments, and entertainment projects.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the design and technical execution of multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial projects from schematic design through construction administration. This role requires a collaborative professional who can coordinate consultants, manage documentation, and work closely with our in-house development and construction teams to deliver high-quality, buildable projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead projects through all phases of design and construction.
  • Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, and specialty consultants.
  • Develop and oversee BIM/Revit models and integrated construction documents.
  • Collaborate with development and construction teams to improve project efficiency, constructability, and cost control.
  • Participate in project scheduling, consultant management, and client coordination.
  • Perform construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, site observations, and coordination with contractors.
  • Evaluate design alternatives based on cost, schedule, constructability, and project goals.
  • Assist with budgeting, cost analysis, and financial pro forma evaluations during the design process.
Qualifications
  • Licensed Architect or on a clear path toward licensure preferred.
  • Significant experience in multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial architecture.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit/BIM and production of coordinated contract documents.
  • Demonstrated experience leading consultant coordination and project teams.
  • Thorough understanding of building codes, construction methods, project delivery, and cost implications.
  • Experience with construction administration and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Institutional project experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Compensation
  • Salary Range:
    Commensurate with experience ($100K-$150K)
  • Medical benefits package, 401K plan.
  • 2 weeks' vacation to start and negotiable with demonstrated experience of the candidate.
