Qualifications- Secondary (high school) diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 2 years experience teaching youth in gardens
- Cooking experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective communication with children and adults
- Valid Food Safety (Serv Safe) certification from a nationally recognized program, obtained within 130 days of hire
Employees must be physically and mentally able to perform the essential duties, which may include standing for long periods, walking, sitting, lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs, pushing/pulling, stooping/bending, repetitive finger or wrist motion, use of both hands/legs simultaneously, rapid mental/muscular coordination, clear speech, normal hearing, color vision, and the use of respirator masks, computers, and telephones.
