Position: Transitional Kindergarten Assistant (TKA) - Willard Elementary

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL LICENSE OR LANGUAGE SKILLS

Experience:

Six (6) months field work with preschool and/or elementary school aged children.

Education:

Associates degree or above from an accredited college/university - OR - Awarded high school diploma or GED equivalent PLUS transcript showing completion of 48 semester units from an accredited college. Units in early childhood education preferred. Immunization Requirements:
Proof of immunization against influenza, pertussis, and measles is required. Refer to California Code, Health and Safety Code - HSC §

APPLICATION PROCEDURES: The attachments required for this position are:
1) Proof of education: awarded Associates degree or above from an accredited college/university
2) Transcripts reflecting the completion of six (6) Child Development units (preferred)

Transcripts and degrees received outside the United States must be supplemented by a complete evaluation report from a regionally accredited foreign degrees review agency.
