School Paraprofessional Substitutes are needed to provide essential instructional and behavioral support for students in school environments. Key Responsibilities- Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
- Deliver 1:1 or small-group guidance under the direction of teachers and staff
- Assist with daily routines, classroom participation, transitions, and organization
- Implement behavior support plans and track progress as needed
- Follow IEPs and specialized instructions, supporting individual student needs
- Supervise students during classroom and non-classroom activities, promoting safety and inclusion
- Offer mobility and personal care assistance to students as required
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- 18 years of age or older
- Current TB test (or ability to obtain per district requirements)
- Physically able to stand, walk, and provide assistance—including lifting when needed
- Active school clearances or willingness to complete required checks prior to start
- Previous work in a school, childcare, special education, or behavioral health setting
- Background supporting children with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT protocols (a plus but not required)
- Reliable, patient, and dedicated to teamwork

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
