Position Overview
Rooted in the Holy Child commitment to educating the “whole child” and launching young women for success, Mayfield Senior’s college counseling program is a multifaceted, highly personalized program that supports students from 9th through 12th grade. The program responds to each student’s unique interests, strengths, and aspirations while remaining attuned to the evolving landscape of college admissions and higher education.
This assistant will work closely with the Director of College Counseling and Assistant Director of College Counseling/College Counselor with the day-to-day administrative tasks, hosting visitors to campus, evening programming, and standardized testing administration, along with other duties as assigned.

- Manage student data on Scoir and iMSS (Blackbaud), often coordinating with the school registrar
- Manage college visits (approximately 100 each fall semester)
- Maintain and update availability on Scoir between late August to early November
- Secure and confirm locations of college visits
- Cover college visits and/or ensure coverage of each visit
- Communicate with college reps before and after visit as needed
- Assist with and be present for evening college counseling programming
- Assist with the collection and tracking of various required paperwork and college counseling assignments throughout the school year
- Coordinate the administration of the PSAT, school day SAT and ACT, and AP exams under the guidance of the Director of College Counseling
- Assist with various projects related to Formation of Self college counseling curriculum, Transition Week programming, College Admission Board
- Report, general data collection, presentations, etc., as needed
- Assist Mayfield Senior School graduates wishing to transfer colleges
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Experience working in a high school preferred
- Proficiency with spreadsheets required
- Proficiency with Google Workspace required
- Proficiency with Blackbaud preferred
- Proficiency with Scoir preferred
- Commitment to the mission and core values of a Holy Child school
- Demonstrated dedication to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in education
- Ability to lift up to 20–25 lbs
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during events and student activities
$25–$27 per hour, depending on experience. This is a part-time position scheduled for 30 hours per week and is 75% benefits-eligible
