Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate Education and Special Education courses.
- Engage adult learners through inclusive pedagogy.
- Assess student learning and maintain records.
- Foster respectful and supportive learning environments.
- Communicate professionally with students and academic leadership.
- Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience in Education.
- Knowledge of educational theory, curriculum development, and effective teaching practices in higher education.
- Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses online using a Learning Management System (e.g., Canvas).
- Commitment to Pacific Oaks College’s mission and social justice values.
- Doctorate in Education or a related field.
- Publications or research in Education.
- Proficiency in Canvas LMS, Microsoft Office Suite, and online teaching tools.
Flexible work arrangements available; instruction will be delivered from Pasadena, California, with opportunities for off‑site and online participation.
Salary$25.00 to $28.00 per hour.
