Research Technician

Job Title

Under the direction of Senior Research Analyst and Chief Technology Officer, performs a variety of complex and technical program duties as related to State and District student assessment, accountability and evaluation of programs and coordinates the ordering, receipt, inventory, storage, distribution, overall security of testing materials, training and data verification and correction.

Experience:

Four (4) years of full-time experience requiring the keeping and maintenance of statistical data and information is required in a research, analytical, or institutional planning position.

Education:

Associate (AA) degree or equivalent with course work in business administration, psychology, research, statistics, computer science or related fields is required. Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with course work in business administration, psychology, research, statistics, computer science or related field is highly desirable. Additional experience may be substituted for all or part of the required AA degree or equivalent of sixty (60) semester units on the basis of one (1) year full-time experience being equal to thirty (39) semester units of college courses with course work in business administration, psychology, research, statistics, computer science or related fields.
