Salary Schedule/Range: Adjunct Credit Non‑Teaching Faculty
Work Shift: Adjunct faculty must be available to teach Monday through Friday (day and evening), as well as Saturday classes.

Qualifications- Possession of a California Community College Counselor Credential;
- OR – Master's degree in counseling, rehabilitation counseling, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, guidance counseling, educational counseling, social work, career development, marriage and family therapy, or marriage, family and child counseling;

A bachelor's degree in one of the above listed degrees and a license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) is an alternative qualification for this discipline.) - OR – The equivalent (Applicants that do not meet the minimum qualifications and request to be considered under equivalent qualifications are reviewed by a six‑member committee from the Academic Senate before an invitation to interview can be extended);
- AND – The ability to demonstrate clear evidence of a sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
- LMFT/LCSW degree
- Licensed in the State of California
- Licensed Psychologist
- 5+ years of experience as a mental health clinician, with significant experience working with college populations and/or TAY. Clinician should be familiar with providing therapy in a brief setting, with crisis management and consultation, providing psycho educational outreach to diverse populations and providing supervision to unlicensed clinicians. Applicant should be able to demonstrate a robust knowledge of working with diverse populations.
- Applicant should have a background in working with underserved populations, including experience working with African‑American/Black populations, Latino/a/x populations, LGBTQ populations, individuals on the Autism spectrum or with learning disabilities, or working with populations experiencing trauma.
- Experience working in a college setting, specifically a college counseling center.
- Successful applicants must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of background check including Live Scan and Tuberculosis (TB) assessment/screening.
