PayRange
$19‑$21 per hour (dependent on education & experience)
Schedule – Starting in the FallMon‑Thu 2:00 pm–6:00 pm, Fri 12:45 pm–6:00 pm
Responsibilities- Organize program materials for lessons and activities, and document attendance, incidents, and other observations.
- Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character‑building, expanding school‑day learning in a meaningful way.
- Using coursework and in‑person training, model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well‑being, and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
- Meet regularly with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability.
- Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
- Works well in a team environment.
- At least one year of experience working with children under 13 years of age preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a minimum of six units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certificate.
- Ability to lift 25 lb.
- Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
- Ability to meet state‑specific requirements: live‑scan fingerprint, mandated reporter training, health certificate with negative TB test (from a physician).
