Education:
Graduation from secondary (i.e. high school) school or possession of its equivalent (GED). Possession of a Library Technician Certificate from an accredited 2 or 4 year college is desirable. Document upload required
Experience:
One (1) year of full-time library experience is required.
Experience with elementary and secondary age students is desirable. SPECIAL LICENSE OR LANGUAGE
SKILLS:
Possession of a Library Technician Certificate is desirable.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employees must be physically and mentally able to perform the essential duties of a position with or without reasonable accommodation and without hazard to themselves or others. May be required to lift materials up to twenty-five (25) pounds.

1) Proof of completed education (awarded high School diploma, or GED, or conferred college degree)

3) Three (3) signed Letters of Recommendations (one from a current supervisor)
* DEGREE VERIFICATION:
Transcripts and degrees received outside the United States must be supplemented by a complete evaluation report from a regionally accredited foreign degrees review agency. For more information on foreign degree evaluation, visit: (cl-635) (OK) Only equivalency evaluations are acceptable. (NO) Translated transcripts are not acceptable. (NO) Notarized transcripts are not acceptable. Current PUSD employees may:
Submit a "short application" on ;
Only provide documents needed to meet minimum qualifications;
Submit a transfer request to HR for positions in the same classification. Letters of recommendation, resumes, and letters of introduction are not required for internal applicants but are strongly recommended. Employees meeting minimum qualifications shall be interviewed.
