Job Title

Assist teacher, at an assigned center or site, with related instructional activities designed to stimulate learning. Support the teacher in the care and supervision of students. About the vacancy

Location:

Various Hours/Day: 6 hours/day Days/Week: 5 days/week Months/Year: 9 months/year Employees in this position work 6 hours per day, 5 days per week, 9 months per year and shall qualify for district contributed health insurance, sick days, paid time off and membership to CalPERS for retirement benefits.

Minimum qualifications and special license or language skills

Experience:

Six (6) months field work with preschool and/or elementary school aged children.

Education:

Associates degree or above from an accredited college/university – OR – Awarded high school diploma or GED equivalent PLUS transcript showing completion of 48 semester units from an accredited college. Units in early childhood education preferred. Immunization requirements:
Proof of immunization against influenza, pertussis, and measles is required. Refer to California Code, Health and Safety Code - HSC §
