Polytechnic School is seeking a motivated and student-centered Junior Varsity Girls Basketball Coach to guide athletes in fundamentals, competitive play, and personal development within the Poly Athletics program.

• Plan and lead practices, skill sessions, and conditioning appropriate for the JV level
• Develop game strategy, manage rosters/lineups, and provide in-game coaching
• Build a positive, inclusive, and supportive team environment
• Maintain clear communication with student-athletes, parents/guardians, and school staff
• Engage robustly in fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion to promote a healthy learning environment
• Support student-athlete academic eligibility and overall well-being in partnership with school administration
• Collaborate with the Varsity coaching staff to align program goals and player pathways
• Willingness to take on other duties as needed

• Prior coaching or playing experience in basketball at the high school, collegiate, or club level preferred
• Demonstrated experience creating inclusive learning environments and opportunities
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to connect with and mentor adolescent student-athletes
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Background check clearance required
