Pay range: $40 - $50
Location:
Pasadena
Responsibilities:
* Closely work with and support office Principals and Senior Staff in preparing conceptual mitigation measure plans, geometric striping plans, traffic signal plans, traffic control plans, street lighting plans, parking layout plans, and vehicle maneuverability studies.
* Coordinate with clients and project team members regarding project schedules and deliverables.
* Conduct field reviews of existing roadways, e.g., intersection documentation, measurements, photo documentation, and signal timing.
* Coordinate with public agencies to obtain as-built plans, street improvement plans, and traffic signal timing.
Preferred Experience:
* Engineering degree, or equivalent, from an accredited college or university. 1 to 5 years of experience in Traffic Engineering and/or Transportation Planning.
* Basic understanding of common traffic engineering manuals (i.e., CA MUTCD, Caltrans Standards & Specifications, AASHTO, etc.)
Preferred Software Proficiencies:
Synchro, VISTRO, and SIDRA. VMT, CEQA analysis, GIS, and/or AutoCAD.
Preferred Certification:
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification and Professional Engineer registration.
