Program Manager
Actalent is seeking a Program Manager in Pasadena, CA. The role focuses on coordinating project tasks and engineering milestones to ensure deadlines are met within the agreed time frame and budget. The Program Manager will lead technical scopes with software, firmware, and electrical engineers, and will manage project tasks for development projects, excluding the Build‑to‑Print and contract manufacturing side of the business.
Responsibilities- Ensure all projects are delivered on‑time, within scope and budget while adhering to quality standards and procedures.
- Partner with engineers to discuss design and engineering choices for profitability and scheduled timelines.
- Manage communication between subcontractors, internal partners, and customers.
- Coordinate technical scope and lead project teams in a matrix leadership environment.
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management, Program Management, or Project Engineering for development and R&D projects.
- Experience leading projects or programs with a technical scope, specifically partnering with software, firmware, and electrical engineers.
- Direct experience managing budgets, schedules, timelines for deliverables, and customer communication.
Skills & Qualifications
- Preferred experience with government programs, particularly in space and defense.
Pay: $50.00 – $70.00/hr.
