The role focuses on experimental and theoretical physics and engineering to advance quantum computing hardware. Candidates should have strong engineering fundamentals, scripting proficiency, and laboratory experience.
Key Job Responsibilities- Coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders in accelerated learning initiatives.
- Execute scientific measurements under established test standards.
- Produce clear and accurate documentation of experiments.
- Streamline system integration and optimize throughput.
- Maintain assigned instruments autonomously.
- Build, run, and debug automated measurement sequences.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of a scripting language (Python, R, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
- Knowledge of tools and measurement devices such as oscilloscopes and frequency analyzers.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced, team environment.
- Experience working with cryogenic systems.
The base salary range is $122,600 – $160,000 annually. Your package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
