Tax Senior Associate

Overview

Baker Tilly is a leading advisory, tax and assurance firm that serves middle‑market clients across the U.S. and in key global financial centers. We provide industry‑focused tax advisory and compliance services through a professional services structure that is aligned with the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct and applicable laws and regulations.

• Provide federal tax compliance and consulting services to S‑corporations, partnerships, individuals and corporations ranging from middle market to multinational companies.
• Conduct tax research projects, draft IRS responses and address other tax authority inquiries.
• Collaborate with leaders on special projects in corporate and flow‑through taxation, including accounting methods and ASC
  740.
• Develop and present recommendations to clients and their leadership teams.
• Work with specialty tax practices on complex state, local, high‑net‑worth, international, research & development, and incentive tax matters.
• Mentor and support team members through the Baker Tilly Care & Teach philosophy.
• Build and maintain professional relationships internally and with clients.

• 4‑year degree; CPA, law license or enrolled agent preferred.
• At least 2years of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm.
• Strong time‑management, communication, interpersonal, collaboration and problem‑solving skills.
• Leadership, project‑management, organizational and analytical abilities with initiative and adaptability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite; advanced software skills desirable.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.

Pay ranges are:$85,500–$108,420 in Pasadena

CA, ElSegundo

CA and Woodland Hills

CA. Compensation is influenced by experience, qualifications, certifications, work arrangements and location.
