We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee and manage the financial operations of a dynamic family office and private equity firm in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a proven track record in financial management, and the ability to cultivate relationships that drive organizational success. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to long-term business growth while potentially advancing to a CEO position.
Previous agriculture experience is required for this role. Relocation assistance is also available.
- Direct and oversee all financial and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage month‑end financial reporting processes to deliver timely and reliable insights.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors and partners.
- Respond to inbound inquiries with professionalism and efficiency, offering solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Provide strategic guidance on alternative investments and private equity opportunities.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support organizational growth and stability.
- Foster long‑term relationships with key industry players to enhance business opportunities.
- Evaluate financial performance and identify areas for improvement to optimize profitability.
- Collaborate with leadership to drive strategic initiatives and achieve business objectives.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in financial management, with demonstrated stability in previous roles.
- Proven expertise in overseeing finance and accounting operations within a family office or private equity environment.
- Strong background in alternative investments and private equity.
- Exceptional relationship‑building skills with the ability to maintain and expand networks.
- Proficiency in managing month‑end financial processes and delivering accurate reports.
- Strategic thinking and leadership capabilities to drive business growth.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to commit to long‑term organizational goals, including potential advancement to a CEO role.
