Tax Credit Manager

We're searching for a sharp, deal-oriented Tax Credit Manager to join a leading financial services firm in Glendale, CA. In this high-visibility role, you'll own the full lifecycle of tax credit investments - from underwriting and modeling through closing and ongoing portfolio oversight - with a focus on LIHTC, ITC, and other federal and state programs. • Compensation: $130,000 - $160,000 base salary plus bonus, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Underwriting & Modeling

• Lead financial underwriting and detailed tax credit modeling for LIHTC, ITC, and other opportunities, including sensitivity, scenario, and return analyses.

Deal Execution

• Manage end-to-end transactions - structuring, negotiation, documentation review, and closing - in partnership with legal, finance, and external stakeholders.

Portfolio Oversight

• Monitor performance, compliance, and risk across the tax investments portfolio; maintain dashboards and reporting for internal and regulatory audiences.

Senior-Level Presentations

• Prepare and deliver investment recommendations and due diligence findings to senior leadership with clarity and conviction.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years in tax credit investing, renewable energy finance, real estate finance, or a related field - LIHTC and/or ITC underwriting experience strongly preferred
• Deep knowledge of federal and state tax credit programs, partnership structures, and tax compliance
• Strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills; ability to assess credit quality, capital structure, and projected tax benefits
• Excellent communication skills - able to distill complex analysis for executive audiences
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; advanced degree or CPA preferred
