• Monday – Friday: 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM

• Engage with members, complete financial transactions, and offer products and services to enhance their financial lives.
• Consistently meet all Shell FCU Service Commitments and adhere to the Shell FCU Employee Creed and Service Distinctions.
• Maintain knowledge of and comply with all applicable rules and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
• Complete annual training sessions as instructed or scheduled.
• Perform job duties in compliance with Shell FCU policies, procedures, philosophy, and performance standards.
• Provide friendly, professional, and personal service to all members.
• Work the rotating opening, closing, and Saturday schedule as needed.
• Receive and process member financial transactions: deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, negotiable paper checks, cash advances, Western Union transactions, and coin tickets.
• Operate within assigned Teller I limits.
• Prepare CTR and SAR worksheets as required.
• Understand Shell FCU practices and procedures to identify and prevent fraud.
• Handle cash and balance the cash drawer daily.
• Investigate and resolve out-of-balance conditions immediately.
• Assist with preparing cash/coin shipments and branch orders.
• Assist in training new staff or further development of team members.
• Help members with service needs such as change of address, ATM & debit card issues/maintenance, check orders, and safe deposit box services.
• Cross‑sell Credit Union products and services based on member needs.
• Comply with all procedures related to logs, including dual control, buy/sells from the vault, night drop, and mail log.
• Initiate problem solving, troubleshooting, and provide support across all branch areas as needed.
• Meet or exceed personal and branch goals.
• Assist the team with daily responsibilities: following opening and closing procedures, balancing coin machine, vault, ATM, card machine, and closing the SDB vault.
• Be willing to assist the team at other branch locations if required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Six months of cash handling experience through direct Credit Union/Banking or retail experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of Credit Union products and services.
• Welcoming and helpful demeanor.
• Professional verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with a ten‑key calculator and basic computer skills.
• Accurate with numbers and attention to detail.
• Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy essential.
• Ability to work in an open‑concept workspace.

• Regularly required to bend and stand; may lift, carry, or move up to 15 pounds.
• Exposure to potential hazardous conditions such as robbery.
• Employees receive detailed instructions and procedures to minimize risk.
