Capital Markets Payment Processing Specialist
At Regions, the Capital Markets Payment Processing Specialist records transactions and facilitates all processes for payments and invoices in a timely manner.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensures the timely and accurate posting of payments
- Compiles daily reports pertaining to payment processing
- Reviews and resolves any payment issues
- Assists with preparing reports for production team meetings
- Participates in various projects as assigned, both within the department and in collaboration with other functional areas
- Creates and sends customer correspondence, as needed
- Performs all duties and maintains all standards in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Assists the Customer Service department with related issues (e.g., misapplied payments and lease booking issues)
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) year of experience in Accounting or a related field
Preferences
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles as well as general office processes
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and proof-reading skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
Job Range Target:
Minimum: $54,697.50 USD
Median: $67,005.90 USD
Incentive Pay Plans:
This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
