Sr. Banking Advisor

Responsibilities

• Develop new relationships, identify prospects, and develop the marketing strategy for specific clients.
• Manage complex wealth management banking credit and treasury management client relationships and identify opportunities external to banking in the areas of investment and fiduciary.
• Responsible for structuring and negotiating complex loan and/or lease agreements according to guidelines established by senior bank and business unit management.
• Analyze and negotiate the terms of loans, such as special pricing conditions, interest rates, swaps, etc., according to guidelines set by the Credit Policy Committee; oversee and negotiate the preparation of documentation necessary for the financing agreement.
• Advise and consult with clients as it relates to Goals‑Driven Wealth Management.
• Generate leads through well‑established relationships with COIs and cultivate a network of additional COIs.
• As a subject‑area expert, provide comprehensive, in‑depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level.
• Carry out activities that are large in scope, cross‑functional, and technically difficult.
• Balance high‑level operational execution with the development and execution of strategic direction of business function activities.
• Responsible for direct interaction with different committees and/or management.
• Strategically develop, implement, and administer programs within functional areas.
• Lead others to solve complex problems.

Knowledge

• Advanced knowledge of the banking industry, competition, and financing, usually acquired through formal education and experience.
• Knowledge of investments, trust, and financial consulting concepts necessary to identify cross‑selling opportunities.
• Skills in negotiation, leadership, and sales to develop client and prospect relationships and a partner network.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
• Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.
• Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view.
• Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field.

Experience

• At least 5 years in financial analysis and client servicing experience, or commercial lending or leasing experience.
• May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.

Salary Range: $158,010 - $268,640 USD.
