East West Bank, based in Pasadena, California, is seeking a Relationship Manager / Business Development Officer to join its Specialty Deposit Services group. This is a national role for an experienced deposit gatherer who can bring in significant new business immediately and build a diversified deposit portfolio across markets nationwide. The Relationship Manager / Business Development Officer will focus on generating revenue from new and existing clients, researching new markets, and developing the fiduciary deposit space — including Chief Restructuring Officers (CROs), Liquidating & Post-Confirmation Trustees, Disbursing Agents, Claims Agents, Class Action Suit Administrators, Chapter 11 Trustees, Receivers & Assignees, and other fiduciary-focused organizations.
Job Duties- Research new markets, develop leads, and manage sales relationships across the fiduciary deposit space
- Provide advice and counsel to prospects and customers on deposits and related matters, always representing the Bank’s best interests
- Operate in consistent compliance with banking laws, regulations, and established Bank policies, procedures, audit, and security standards
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of the Bank’s products and services, particularly deposit and cash management offerings
- 15+ years of senior-level experience in commercial bank operations, deposit products, complex treasury products, current technology trends, and sales
- Proven track record in outside sales, preferably bank deposit gathering
- Proven ability to develop and cultivate customer relationships
- Excellent relationship management and presentation skills, with the ability to work well independently
- Excellent interpersonal, team building, and communication skills
- Understanding of regulations governing financial products and services
- Experience with in the legal, accounting, or fiduciary markets strongly preferred
- Four-year college degree strongly preferred
- Overnight and national travel required

CompensationThe base pay range for this position is USD $/Yr.
