Teller Credit Union - EXPERIENCE AS A TELLER REQUIRED!

MUST HAVE ONE YEAR EXPERIENCE AS A TELLER IN A BANK OR CREDIT UNION TO APPLY!

We are currently seeking an experienced
Teller for a credit union located in Pasadena, CA 91105
!

Type: Full-time, temporary (up to 5 months)

Pay: $20-25/hr

Branch hours: Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm & rotating Saturday’s: 8:30am – 2:30pm (40 hours a week)

Responsibilities:

• Processing transactions and provide general information about credit union products and services
• Processing member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments and transfers, in person, by mail, or telephone
• Answering questions, conducting research on member accounts, and referring members to other departments
• Receiving and verifying cash to handle daily cash disbursements
• Balancing cash receipts and preparing daily work summary
• Maintaining neat and accurate records of all transactions
• Inputting information into computer terminal, filing documents, and performing other duties
• Knowing and understanding of all credit union products and services and cross‑selling products that meet the needs of the membership, and making individual and contributing to branch goals

Requirements:

• Minimum of one year experience as a teller working in a bank or credit union
• Symitar experience preferred!
• Strong in cash handling and negotiable items
• Possess an enthusiastic and professional attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
