We are seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students within an assigned geographic area. The SLP will be responsible for IEP management and conducting comprehensive assessments, including evaluating, diagnosing, and treating students with speech and language disorders; developing individualized treatment plans; maintaining accurate and timely documentation; and collaborating with faculty and parents to communicate student progress.

- Assess the needs of pupils with speech or language disorders and match them with programs available through the educational system.
- Meet with students regularly according to the treatment program schedule, evaluate, and maintain records of students’ progress.
- Report progress to faculty members and meet with them regularly to discuss their evaluations of students’ skills as demonstrated in class performance and social interaction with other students.
- Develop individual speech and language programs based upon assessment results.
- Participate in the eligibility and planning required for development of the IEP when a communication disorder is present.
- Report progress to parents and meet with them regularly.
- Suggest activities parents can do with their child to assist and supplement the student’s speech therapy program.
- Repeat evaluations on a regular basis to measure progress according to professional guidelines.
- Travel to school sites within the assigned region.
- Maintain student progress records as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Valid California SLP License / CTC Credential or eligibility for a state waiver.
- A valid license/RPE issued from the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board, California.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain transportation between job sites, as required.
