· Pasadena, CA### About the Role As a Front Office Associate, you'll provide services to patients and referring professionals by answering phones, scheduling appointments, and greeting and registering patients in a cheerful, professional manner.### Responsibilities
* Answer phones and route calls to the appropriate team members
* Act as liaison between imaging technologists and waiting patients
* Maintain organization of the front office lobby area
* Complete appointment confirmation calls and provide prep instructions
* Enter and verify patient exam orders against exam schedules
* Schedule referrals and obtain proper authorizations
* Verify insurance coverage and pre-certify exams
* Facilitate Release of Information (ROI) requests### Requirements
* Greet and check in patients, process payments and copays as needed
* Fax/scan reports, billing information, and medical release forms
* Working knowledge of insurance carriers (e.g. Medicare) and pre-authorization procedures### Location Pasadena, CA Location
